Insert Web Link new window, target not working in IE

I am trying to add a link via the 'Insert Web Link' but when using IE [I am using IE8] and setting the target to open in a new window it dosen't work.

Everything works fine in Firefox it just seems to be IE that has a problem with it?

Any help appreciated.
