my_config.js don't work

I use

I am new and was traying to get the ExtendedFilemanager to work but when i put in the code like the samples on the website nothing work. the code i have is:
I have market the part with >>>>>>>>>> (after step 3) on the start and on the end.

Can someone telll me what is wrong

Your PHP is probably not running my_config.js, call it my_config.php instead.
