Help with inserting html from an external popup

I an using Xinha in my content manager.  I generate a list of modules that can be used on the pages. These modules can change frequently, by users adding new modules.

I need to populate a popup window with code generated by a Perl program (this is easy) and have each module clickable so all a user has to do is click on the module name and it will be inserted in the Xinha textarea.   I have done this with other RTE editors but can not seem to figure out the process in this editor.

Any help is appricated.

Re: Help with inserting html from an external popup

Hi Ray

Have a look at the plugin InsertSnippet. Also check InsertSnippet2. You might be able to make a new plugin based on either of these. I'm looking at whether I can do something similar, but also throw up a form and allow variables to be inserted into the snippet/module. For example I'd like to insert microformats or videos this way.
