I've just downloaded and installed Xinha.
When invoking the page that requires the Xinha component throws an error:
"An error has occurred: Method not allowed
URL: /includes/xinha/plugins/Linker/scan.php"
With only "OK" as an option.
This comes up under both FF 3.0.7 and IE 7.
Oddly enough, under FF, I cannot use the linker at all, but under IE, after clicking 'OK' - I can continue on and use linker to put links into the text I'm editing.
Has anyone else had this problem, and found a workaround?

What platform is it running on?
To be honest this sounds like a config error more than a bug in the software. However more info is required to be able to help you.

Actually, it's not so much a config screen - the Linker is a PHP component, and I'm doing my dev work on a Winblows box (without PHP installed), soooo..
The question was.. how to take Linker OUT of the question? I don't understand why a client-side component would have server-side requirements. Seems contradictory.
And out of curiosity, you aren't the same "Huw" of Snitz fame, are you?

You could just remove linker from the Xinha.conf file. That would get rid of Linker in its entirety.
Many Xinha plug-ins use PHP for parts of their operation. These seem to be to supply server side info to the client side stuff. For example Linker would give you a list of files on the server you could link to ...
If by Snitz you mean the ASP forum thinggy then no - that's not me! ASP is really not my bag :-)

a) Removing Linker.. yeah. Tried that. Didn't work. I need to bone up on my Javascript, apparently.
2) Using PHP.. Not so smart. Decreases the market share potential, and .. frustrates the piss outta me! I'd rather just have the ability to edit the link - this is supposed to be an HTML inline editor, isn't it? Who cares about what files are physically located alongside the editor's code..
III) Snitz... Too bad. Neat little CMS, that.
