Selenium IDE does not detect xinha

Is there a solution to allow the selenium IDE to detect what the user types into the xinha editor during recording?

I saw other posting on how they can post a specific text to xinha during playback, but not to record what the user actually types and get the same text to be types into xinha during playback.
