Xinha doesn't work at all with Safari (Safari 3.0.4 Mac), and it works in Firefox.
It doesn't even appear.
Is this normal ?

From what I've read, safari and xinha don't work together. If anyone out there knows a fix, please post. I have a mac-using client that I installed xinha for and now I've got to talk him into using firefox.

Thanks I will test on my mac mini. What files are changed / updated? htmlarea.js ? xinha core? I would prefer to just swap them out instead of kill my working xinha install and all the images/ plugins.

I'm uploading now. Do you think there is a chance that image manager will work?
That is my main goal for this client.
Worked Successfully !! in Safari 3.0.4 mac osx powerpc mac mini as well as winxp safari.
I can't thank you enough great work!!!
Sincerely Michael Hazzard

I'm using 0.95_RC2 and Safari 3.1 (525.13) - some things work but none of the popups load properly. I've tried fiddling with Safari's preferences but popups (like insert table, insert special char etc) appear with a message saying they're contact the server but never anything more. Same thing happens on the Xinha demo sites. Safari has been updated since this thread began so perhaps its just my version that doesn't work?
Just wanted to say thanks for the latest improvements too!

Forgot to say I'm using Safari 3.1 on Windows XP. Will try it on the Mac later today I hope.

Same thing happens on Mac (Tiger) with Safari 3.04 and 3.1.1 - text dialogues, like colour work fine, others like insert table appear to hang.

I am using .96 Beta and am not able to get Xinha to load on Safari 3 and 4 Beta on Mac Leopard (and Windows, but Mac main concern). It loads fine in Firefox 3.0x.
I have tried both relative and absolute links and checked that I am consistent with www or not, but still no joy. Any tips? I can send over my config if someone wants.
