skins not working in IE

I included a skin into the editor page

<link rel="stylesheet" href="xinha/skins/silva/skin.css" type="text/css" />

it shows up in firefox (on my local machine - firefox does not work on the remote server - I can't imagine why and would love enlightenment) but no skins show up in IE 6 or 7. 

This isn't incredibly important but I would just like to know why.

try

_editor_skin = "silva";

As to why it doesn't work on your server: not beeing clairvoyant it's hard to guess (if you give a URL, it should be most probably sorted out, but otherwise most probably not)

Yes, thank you master, that worked!

Also, somewhere along the line the editor reappeared in Firefox as well.  I'm in pretty good shape now.
