Problem with IE6 and IE7

Hi all,

I've got around giving Xinha a decent spin on a site of mine, and everything worked perfect in Firefox. I do have problems with IE6 and IE7 though. At first, all is OK when the page is loaded in those browsers, but when I press the button to switch to HTML source-edit, the browsers freeze up.

In Firefox everything is OK, but the problem is that about 80 percent of the people still use IE...

By the way: I've tried running the page in Safari, but nothing happens, am I correct that Safari is also not supported yet?

I've set up a test page (pasting all the code here won't make things very readable I think).
Page: http://peatminers.kroezeweb.nl/admin/test.php
Xinha-config-file: http://peatminers.kroezeweb.nl/admin/xinha/my_config.js

Re: Problem with IE6 and IE7

I have tested your page in both IE6 and 7 and everything worked, except that the page always scrolled to bottom when switching from HTML to WYSIWYG.

Safari is indeed not supported at the moment. I would like to see that though, but I'm not sure when this will happen.

Re: Problem with IE6 and IE7

I'm now on another PC with IE6 (work), and the page is indeed working here!

I don't quite get the scrolling issue though, Does Xinha replace the editor with another version when switching? If it really is the same applet with the same width, it shouldn't behave like this.

** Edit: Found it: the editor's width increases when you switch to html-source. I've narrowed it down 5px, and when you switch to HTML source now, it doesn't scroll down, but you can see the editor widen just a couple of pixels...
