Hi,
When i copy paste text from a Word document into my xinha editor, the layout gets messed up, does anyone else experience problems with the conversion?

This is a common problem (and not just with Xinha).
The cause is that the paste from Word (or other Office programs) brings in extra formatting code from word in the form of style, font and span tags that can be seen if you view the HTML:
<li class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; color: black; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-hyphenate: none; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list 36.0pt"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><u><span lang="EN" style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: arial; mso-ansi-language: en">Full</span></u></strong><span lang="EN" style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: arial; mso-ansi-language: en"> The normal text goes here. </span></li>
Solutions:
1. One solution (I have a post asking about another) is to use the Superclean plugin. This can remove most of this extra formatting with three buttons:
"Clear MS Office tags" should be used to clean any pages pasted from word. It should not affect the page display, but will remove spare code.
"Clear inline font specifications" has three levels. Using all three (best for starting off) will clean the word paste almost completely.
"Remove formatting" cleans much that is left.
A few bits are sometimes left.
2. Paste into Notepad from word to remove formatting, then into Xinha.
3. Use Puretext - a great free utility that allows you to paste only text:

NOTE - this is not a full answer I hope others will add more about the plugin use and the Pastetext plugin (that I cannot get to work).
There is also some config item KillWordOnPaste (I think) that I need to find out more about and that might help.
