I would like to copy paste an article that includes pictures into the xinha textarea (e.g. this article: http://www.eetimes.com/news/latest/show … 198800817). This works fine but xinha only references to the image-file on the internet. Should I not be connected to the internet, but only to a local server or should the magazine change the url of the image, it would be lost.
My question: can I set a parameter so that xinha actually downloads all the images I copy-paste and changes the img src=to their location on the local server?

No, that functionality is not yet part of Xinha, but this seems not too hard to implement as a plugin. If I find the time, I will try and do it in the next days

I think that would be a very useful feature and it would be most appreciated from my side :-)

Have there been any new developments regarding this feature?

Hi,
I think it's not possible because, for security reason, you can't set any default value to file upload inputs. If you could, hackers websites could steal some files on your computer.
Or perhaps using activeX or java applet...

I understood it like saving the files on the server, which would also make more sense.
P.S. Sorry, seems like I have forgotten this thing. You should open a ticket for this, they are more "sticky"
