newbe simple spell check fix

I hav no dictionaries in the spell check window, ive read the past forms and here the directory for the dictionairy off the site /xinha/plugins/SpellChecker/aspell

now I want to try the driect ditionary link but cannot find it, when I put in:

<script type="text/javascript"> _editor_url = "http://spectrum.buffalo.edu/xinha/" // (preferably absolute) URL (including trailing slash) where Xinha is installed _editor_lang = "en"; // And the language we need to use in the editor. // start of fancy text box code </script>

the program wouldent load up, it woul just be the normal txt box, and i put it as absolute at the _editor_url, which is the programs main directory so im pretty sure thats the wrong place, where should i set the dictionary local? Thanks

Re: newbe simple spell check fix

Hey Guys,

I have no idea if this will help solve your problem, but I figure any idea is better than no idea....

In aspell_setup.php file the path to aspell on line 20 may be wrong (there was no path at all.) It should look like
$aspell      = '/usr/local/bin/aspell';

If you change that, things might start working.

Cheers!

Re: newbe simple spell check fix

turns out I didn't have aspell & it's english dictionary installed on my webserver... sorry I'm new at this so took me awhile to find something on this problem on your website. Thanks for your help. Now if somebody would notice my other question meandering about in the nether, I'd be in business.
