I am new to Xinha and have the software working except for the hyperlink functionality. Each time my page loads, I get a alert saying:
An Error Has Occurred Method Not Allowed URL: http://localhost/WYSIWYG_1/xinha/plugins/Linker/scan.php
Once I click ok on the message the page opens and works fine with the exception of the hyperlink. Upon investigation I found that the Newbie.html page acts the same but the simple_example.html page works perfectly.
A few more observations:
* The Newbie and Simple_Example.html pages use the same XinhaCore.js file.
* The major difference is in the Newbie.html the config info is in a .js include file and in the Simple_Example.html the config is inline code with some plugin init info not in the others.
I tried setting up my default.aspx page exactly like the simple_example page but ran into a lot of errors so I decided to change it back...
Any help on this issue would be awesome.
Oh and currently my app is set up pretty much exactly like the Newbie Install Guide instructed with the exception of a few tricks like copying the config file of Newbie.html to my my_config.js
Thanks, Todd

No, and it's just running at the moment on my localhost machine which is Windows XP Pro. At first I thought that was the problem as well, but then once I noticed that the simple_example.html was working perfectly on my localhost machine I ruled that out.

Please see http://xinha.python-hosting.com/ticket/1028
(of course you still need PHP)

I recognize this is an old thread, but I've just recently installed Xinha.. And am astonished.
What motivation is there, to place server-side requirements in place for a predominantly javascript solution?
Seems a little nutty, if you ask me. Is there a workaround to disable the requirement for PHP, server-side?
