capturing ctrl-v

Is it possible to capture the ctrl-v event in xinha? At the minute I have a modified version of XinhaCore.js that does some stuff on paste, but it doesn't get run if the user uses ctrl-v. any suggestions?

i've put an alert inside Xinha.prototype._shortCuts to print the value of cmd after the switch statement...when pressing ctrl-v this function isn't getting executed in Firefox (guess this has something to do with Firefox's security for the clipboard?)
