Two problems have cropped up with Xinha in a web site manager which I am building.
These are both picky little things, but definitely not nice for my uses.
If I copy/paste content (and maybe on other occasions), pages seem to be preceded by <p> tags which I do not want and must remove. A regular user wouldn't really notice these, but would notice the end result which is a really ugly unexpected gap between titles and content. The strangest part of this is that the P tag isn't actually noticeably there in the editor mode; it only appears in the HTML view or the end result.
What could be causing this? Can it be turned off? Can I get Xinha to automatically remove unnecessary spacing from the start and end of a document, or must that be done with PHP?
I've noticed that my styles (selected via the Stylist plugin) are not appearing in the editor view. However, in the final output those styles still appear. Previously, this worked fine; I am not sure what I have changed that could break it. This happens in both Internet Explorer and Firefox, and the styles still do not appear if I reload the page.
Also a few completely aesthetic things...
That dropdown menu at the top-left of the Xinha editor where you change the text style to things like Heading 1. Can I change what its options do, so that instead of adding H1, H2 (etc.) tags it will add Span tags using styles noticed by the Stylist extension? (Or even if I have to customize them myself).
Can I remove the Font size and Font options?
I have a thing against tags such as Strong and Em. Can I tell Xinha to use Span for all that stuff instead?
Here is the site manager:

Here is the actual web site:

Thanks in advance!

Actually, it seems that not even links are appearing styled, and newly inserted images are shown as broken until I open the editor again.
Weird... I'm going to try updating Xinha.
