<strong> instead of <span style="font-weight: bold;">

Hi,

I'd like to know if it is possible to use tag STRONG as default, instead of <span style="font-weight: bold;">

ie:

now, if I want to make some text bold, xinha create a SPAN tag:

<span style="font-weight: bold;">Text</span>

But I prefer this:

<strong>Text</strong>

as the same, I prefer to use TAG <I> or <EM> instead of <span style="font-style: italic;">

Is it possibile?

Thanks a lot

To my knowledge Xinha does and always has used  <strong> for bold text in either browser.
Is it IE 6 or 7?

Re: <strong> instead of <span style="font-weight: bold;">

yes it's true, you are correct!
working with firefox I hadn't noticed...do you think that it would be possible to make the STRoNG tag work on firefox ?

I also noticed that xinha with Firefox translates the key ENTER with "<br  />", while with IE : "<p > </p>";  Do you think it would be possible to make them both use "<br />"?

But these differences are due to browser settings, or to xinha settings?

thanks!

Re: <strong> instead of <span style="font-weight: bold;">

mmm I notice that with xinha_config.mozParaHandler I can force Firefox to use 'br' instead of 'p' tags when I press ENTER... very good , it works ... but I want to  use <br> instead of <p> when I use IE too!!!

do you think it is possibile? I think no...

thanks

EDIT:
Sorry, this would be: no this does not seem to be impossible. Don't know why I got this wrong
