Customising Xinha

Greetings, nice software, and powerful smile

I've read every thread on this board, it seems, but I still can't find the answer to a really simple question. A couple of threads suggest that how to do it is in the Newbie Guide but I can't find it.

What do I want to do?

Simply customise Xinha so that font attributes (just style & size) are switched off and numerous other bits and pieces. I want to design a very stripped down, very controlled Xinha installation for my site.

Can anyone, please, help?

Re: Customising Xinha

Ok, i finally figured out that configuring the toolbar is actually in the HTMLAREA.JS file (something I'm loathe to edit as I want upgrades to the software to work sad). For those of you who don't know, go to line 309 (this.toolbar) and delete the various items specified to strip down your Xinha installation.

One thing I'm still curious about, I don't seem to be able to specify the default font....? Something about 'editor not defined' if I try        editor.config.pageStyle = "body { background-color: red; } "; or anything like it in the config.js file?

Help!

Re: Customising Xinha

the newbie guide can be found here: http://xinha.python-hosting.com/wiki/NewbieGuide
The newbie guide thread can be found there too.

Don't edit the htmlarea.js file. You can configure xinha in the myconfig.js file as explained in the newbie guide. There are several threads in the forum explaining configuring xinha.
