How to add a save button for firefox 1.07?

Hello,

how can one add a "Save" button that shows up on firefox 1.07. The button should trigger a custom javascript. Is there any standard button available that can be used? Also how what one have to add the custom script?

P.S. Using IE6, a "save as" button shows up that allows to save the current content as html. This is limited to ie due to  a check within htmarea.js.
