tracking changes just like outlook

http://weblogs.asp.net/skillet/archive/ … 95838.aspx - would it possible to implement something like this into xinha so when user clicks somewhere and starts typing, a tag/tetx comes up saying [edited] for example, similar to outlook?

p.s. don't suppose anyone has come up with a javascrip way of monitoring changes!!! or even asp!!!

don't know if this is what you needed (especially as i don't know outlook)

but a onchange-plugin you could create like described in this thread:

...you could also take a look at the CharCounter plugin http://xinha.python-hosting.com/file/tr … counter.js and modify it so that it doesn't write the chars in the status-bar - but a "[edited]".
