charset on the bottons in Xinha

Hi

I'm a newbie Xinha and all other WYSIWYG editors, so sorry if ask stupid questions.

I've used the da (Danish) language and this works fine except of the plugins. I then tried to make a translation and put it under admin/plugins/InsertSmiley/lang (as an example). And it didn't turn out nicely. Our special characters as æ, ø and å don't look like this but instead show some funny characters.

I had the same problem with the document itself (the text I wrote in the editor), but there I could get the right characters using iso-8859-1 instead of utf8 - so I know I'm using iso-8859-1 in the <head>. of the document.

Why can't I see the correct characters on the buttons when I can in the editor itself?

Re: charset on the bottons in Xinha

you must save your langauge-file as utf8 encoded.

you have probably the core-langauge-file saved as utf8 (or it did exist allready?!) - but the insertsmily-file you saved in iso-8859-1

...if you use iso-8859-1 for your html-page itselfe should afaik not be a problem (although utf8 is recomendet big_smile)
