Automatic link creation

I'm looking to use Xinha for the front-end of a webmail system. As users won't generally be that sophisticated I wanted to have links and e-mail addresses automatically converted to links rather than forcing users to select some text and then then hit a button to make a link. If this can happen as users type, like when you're entering messages into Outlook, then this would be really cool.

Is this possible with Xinha?

Re: Automatic link creation

It should already work that way.

In IE, IE actually does it (and i don't know how to turn it off), in Gecko based browsers we simulate the effect (and make it better, you can hit ESC (I think it was ESC) to cancel the auto-link immediatly after it links it)

Just type for example www.example.com or bob@example.com and they should turn into links.
