Lock down the Wiki.
Seems to me you need to lock down the Wiki ...

Or at least give the "revert to version..." option. Is it possible for registered (and approved) users to lock down the versions ("you can't revert to any version before this one").

I second that. I've hacked the pages back to how they were before they were defaced, but I think that you are going to need to restrict updates to "trusted" users

I noticed this 'feature', I was just too tired to pay any attention to it, however it doens't seem like the best solution to leave it open to someone, I suggest you completely restrict access ASAP...
someone even posted a ticket about this...

Hmm, yes I've been busy the last week (whats new), I didn't spot those defacements.
I guess I'll lock it down.
Anybody with a trac account will be able to edit it, anyone without won't.
I didn't want to do that but I guess there is no option.
Anybody who wants a trac account post here.

How about allowing users to post comments? Sth. like with online documentation at www.php.net? That way there is clear distinction between 'official' and 'any-user-could-write-this' content.
If it's not too difficult to implement of course... Otherwise there's always forum.
