what's wrong with dom_checkInsertP()?

So I'm fighting with EnterParagraphs. What a mess. There's some issue with range selection in terminal cases that I don't understand yet. (beginning and end of document and/or container tags ... to demonstrate clear the text out of the editor, enter the word "test", link it to something, put the cursor at the end of the now linked "test". press enter. View the source. View the horror.)

What are the problems with HTMLArea.prototype.dom_checkInsertP()?

Why is it considered a worse alternative to EnterParagraphs?

I dont know the answer to your question, but some other editors I had tried used div's instead of p's and none had the double spacing issue in IE.  What was the reason xinha doesnt use that method?
