Textarea not noticing that the value has been selected via the toolbar

Hey,

I have a strange issue that if I select any of the styles (bold,underline,link) from the toolbar they show in the input box but if I click save they revert to not even been inputted.  I am having to copy and paste the value for it to stick.

Any Ideas?
