Hi,
I'm trying to load the Xinha examples page in Firefox, but it doesn't work. The little buttons don't load correctly.
If I use IE as browser the editor works fine.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem with Firefox?
Thanks
Rudi

I'm using version 1.0.
Latest SVN version (feb 19) works like a champ over here under Linux using FireFox 1.0 , but I do get two errors when running the examples/full_example.html file.
Error: xinha_init is not defined
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Access to restricted URI denied" code: "1012" nsresult: "0x805303f4 (NS_ERROR_DOM_BAD_URI)" location: "http://formvista.yml.com/mobie/tests/xinha_dev/htmlarea.js Line: 1339"]

It's impossible for me to load
http://xinha.gogo.co.nz/xinha-nightly/e … ample.html
with Firefox 1.0 and Windows XP SP1. It ends with a timeout and the little buttons are not loaded.
With IE there is no problem.

How about the latest releas example - http://xinha.gogo.co.nz/xinha-latest/ex … ylist.html
Do you get any Javascript errors in the console when trying the nightly?

On my end (Linux/FireFox 1.0) the examples/stylist.html above does not generate any javascript console errors.

I found out, that it's a problem with my router / firewall settings. If I reduce safety, the Editor works in Firefox.
The reason seems to be, that Firefox is loading the little thumbnails, especially for the table-operations-plugin, much slower than IE.
Thanks

What firewall? What does "reducing safety" actually permit I wonder.

My SMC Barricade limits in and outgoing traffic with an intrusion detection system:
- Fragmentation half-open wait
- TCP SYN wait
- TCP FIN wait
- Maximum incomplete TCP/UDP sessions number to same host
- Incomplete TCP/UDP sessions detect sensitive time period
etc.
After increasing the timeouts the editor loads and shows the buttons in Firefox.
