Empty Text Area = <p> </p>

Hi Guys,

I have Xinha up and running (…and it’s amazing as everyone knows!), but I am having a few problems.

The major one right now is that when a user leaves the text area empty, I would like the code to be blank.

Instead, Xinha prints:
  <p> </p>

This causes unnecessary spacing and results in support calls/emails asking why there is so much blank space even when everything had been erased. Right now my answer is to tell people to switch to “HTML Source Code View” and erase the
<p> </p>, but that is really throwing people for a loop.

Does anyone know how I can get an empty text area to be totally that…empty!

Thanks in advance for any ideas anyone has. I’m up for trying anything, so feel free to get creative. smile
