How To Proportionally Resize Images

Does anyone know how to use the drag handles on the images to resize an image whilst keeping the proportions correct?

I've tried CTRL , ALT , SHIFT , CTRL + SHIFT , CTRL + ALT & ALT + SHIFT but none of those seem to work.

If this is not possible, I will have to file a feature request I think.

It's a very old post, but I have the same problem with IE 9 (no problem under Firefox).
