cannot get XINHA to render at widths less than 300px

No matter what I do, XINHA will not go narrower than 300px for me.
Am I doing something wrong ? is it a limitation ?
I need a window about 250px wide for my open source collaborative mapping application.

Whilst XINHA is enabled, I have had to force the sidepanel (on the right) to be bigger than I want.

(You will not see XINHA unless you log in, it is only used in edit mode, which you need to be logged in to enter)
