I'm having a problem with the SpellChecker plugin, namely, that everything seems to work except that the Suggestions word list and the dictionary list (<select>) are not visible.
It isn't that they aren't there. I have about 20 dictionaries loaded, but when I pull the drop down I see 20 <option> lines and if I change one, the dictionary changes, but the <option> text is not visible. Neither is the text for the various suggested words though they are clearly there. I tried changing the background for the two <selects> thinking that it might be an issue with the same background, font color. But that doesn't fix it, either.
Since I assume that others have this working out of the box, I'm curious as to what might be the problem.
The behavior is the same in Firefox 1.0.7 and IE 6.
