Image Management without using the Image Manager plugin

I'm running Xinha on a Coldfusion platform. The PHP plugins won't work and I need to create image/file management system in CF (no problem there).

My javascript is a little rusty and I think the easiest way to handle the images would be to post the variables to a CF page before the window closes and process it there.

I can't seem to get the window to stay open and let me redirect to a cf page before closing it.

Any ideas?
