Table Columns

Is there a way to cut-and-paste table columns in Xinha?  For example, I have two tables, A and B, and want to move Column1 from Table A and make it Column1 in Table B.  Copying the text from a table column and pasting it back into a table results in the text being organized in a row, not a column.
