Hi all!
Firstly, thank you for Xinha!
I have begun with HTMLArea and use Xibha now.
I really like this editor, it's great.
But i see no changes in Xihna Development in the last 5-6 monthes.
Xinha is OK for today.
But if i plan for future, i don't know, whether Xinha will support new browsers (features).
That's why i want to know, what happens with Xinha development.

I have to say, I've been wondering as well. Either the team of active developers is taking a (well earned) holiday after the Phoenix Beta, or else there is some problem with the development system? There seem to be some problems with IE8 which even the nightly demo on the site is exhibiting (javascript errors appearing in the box on the bottom of the demo page). It would be good to know whether people are just having a rest, or whether the project has been mothballed.
Having said that, I'm incredibly grateful for the development which was put in to turn the old htmlarea into the more sophisticated and modern version we have in the Phoenix version of Xinha.

Hi guys,
Recently I have been a bit busy working for money and girlfriend and stuff. Also my fellow Phoenix programmers seem to have quit. However I'm still here with you, and I'm still willing take on work again soon!

Xinha development is always a bit spasmodic, because it's written by people who "have an itch to scratch".
That is, we use it in our "day jobs" and when something doesn't work, we decide "oh I should probably fix that".
The lack of development of Xinha, in my opinion, is testament to the fact that it quite simply "does the job it's made for" most of the time.
Fellow developers are always welcome to join the effort if you've got a similar itch to scratch.
