I've tried my best to follow the instructions on the website but I find some of it hard to follow. I'm not too familiar with PHP so I think I need something of an idiots guide to this. But I've installed xinha in the root of my webspace and for the most part it works. Although Linker doesn't work. It gives an Internal Server Error complaining about scan.php. I'm not really sure the reason for that. MY main problem at the moment though is I'd like to use ExtendedFileManager but I get a 500 Internal Server Error with this message:
"174.132.78.157/~dbiben/xinha/plugins/ExtendedFileManager/backend.php?__plugin=ExtendedFileManager&__function=manager&mode=link (port 80)"
I have no idea where this is going wrong but this is my xinha code in my webpage:
<script type="text/javascript">
var _editor_url = "/~dbiben/xinha/"
var _editor_lang = "en";
</script>
<!-- Load up the actual editor core -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="/~dbiben/xinha/XinhaCore.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">

xinha_init = xinha_init ? xinha_init : function()

* For each one add the respective id to the xinha_editors array.
* I you want add more than on textarea, keep in mind that these
* values are comma seperated BUT there is no comma after the last value.
* If you are going to use this configuration on several pages with different

/** STEP 2 ***************************************************************
* Now, what are the plugins you will be using in the editors on this
* page. List all the plugins you will need, even if not all the editors
* will use all the plugins.
*
* The list of plugins below is a good starting point, but if you prefer
* a simpler editor to start with then you can use the following
*
* xinha_plugins = xinha_plugins ? xinha_plugins : [ ];
*
* which will load no extra plugins at all.
************************************************************************/
xinha_plugins = xinha_plugins ? xinha_plugins :

// THIS BIT OF JAVASCRIPT LOADS THE PLUGINS, NO TOUCHING
if(!Xinha.loadPlugins(xinha_plugins, xinha_init)) return;

* We create a default configuration to be used by all the editors.
* If you wish to configure some of the editors differently this will be
* done in step 5.
*
* If you want to modify the default config you might do something like this.
*
* xinha_config = new Xinha.Config();
* xinha_config.width = '640px';
* xinha_config.height = '420px';
*
*************************************************************************/
xinha_config = xinha_config ? xinha_config() : new Xinha.Config();

/** STEP 5 ***************************************************************

* xinha_editors.myTextArea.config.height = '480px';

Whatever's going wrong with this is probably what's also causing the problem with Linker/scan.php as well.
MY website seems to want the /~dbiben/ on the front of my directory structure.
