CMS file tree with Linker

I am a definite newbie when it comes to  Javascript in general and Xinha specifically. I have a site using a CMS (CMSMadeSimple) and I tend to prefer Xinha to most of the other editors set up to work with cmsms. However, the one function that wasn't set up in the module was for an "internal link". It seems to me that the file tree generated by the Linker plugin would be the way to go, but it currently displays the server file tree. I would like to change it so that it displays the page list from the database.
Does anyone have any experience with what I'm trying to accomplish? (keeping in mind I'm fairly new at this)
I posted the same question on the cmsms forum, but thought maybe someone having done something similar with a different cms could point me in the right direction with this...

There are several ways to fill the tree, see http://trac.xinha.org/wiki/Linker

Re: CMS file tree with Linker

Thanks, I had seen that. I can't seem to figure out how to properly re-work the scan.php file to show the database list of pages. This is probably a question for the cmsms forum (i've asked it there too).
I think I've found the right code for listing the pages in the database, but so far all my attempts to insert it into the scan.php file hasn't worked.
As I said before I'm very new to this, so I'm sure it's something obvious for people who have been working with this stuff for a while, and i'm just missing it
