<style> tags stripped when saving

Hi,

When I save the editor contents, any style tags entered whiled editing in HTML edit mode are stripped out.  I don't want to enable the FullPage option because I don't want the full HTML header tags included in what I save (I'm going to use the editor content within a pre-formed HTML page that already has the HTML, HEAD, etc. tags in it).  Is there a way to allow the user to enter style tags in HTML edit mode and save them in the final content without saving the entire HTML page?
