Does Xinha require PHP on server?

I want to use Xinha in my java-based web application but I see that some of the default plugins (Linker, SuperClean for example) do Ajax POSTs to PHP pages.  I will not be running PHP on my site, so I'm wondering what my options are?  Do I have to rewrite those PHP pages in Java or maybe somebody has already done that?

Xinha itself does not require PHP.  However as you have found, some plugins do.  If you wish to use those plugins you will either need to run PHP, or rewrite them in the language of your choice.
