Front of URL disappears!

When I type in a link of: http://joint.dudley.nhs.uk/whatever/ok, the hole of the front disappears and I am left with: /whatever/ok This occurs when I use the dialog box and also in HTML mode. Upon hitting submit, I can see the front just disappear.

Can anyone please help.

Is the page located on http://joint.dudley.nhs.uk? If so, this is wanted, but should be possible to be switched off with

     xinha_config.stripBaseHref = false;
