Help with SaveSubmit and posting checkbox state

Hi,

I would like to post checkbox state along with xinha textarea text, but when I $_REQUEST checkbox state by name, I always get the 'on' value. However, if I 'get' the value of <input type="text"> with $_POST, I successfully get the value of it on the other side; of course it works great also when submitting the textarea text (which this was this plugin made for).

Being able of getting the right state of the checkbox would be simply excellent!
