Prevent xinha browsing to new page

When xinha loads up in my Firefox browser, it appears to load a new page, such that when I click to go back, it just shows the plain textarea, then loads xinha up again. Checking the browser's back list shows that it has indeed loaded a new page. Can this behaviour be prevented? I'd like myself and my website's users to be able to click Back from an editing page and return to where they were before.

PS. The url stays the same between these loads, and there are no new GET or POST variables.

This is a known and long standing bug in mozilla.
